Emmett has 3 children and is having fun living life full of discoveries. He is learning as much from his kids about life as he is teaching them.
He reached his breaking point with his step son and made a decision to do something different. He reached out and found powerful principles that any step dad can use, drawing from Psychology, NLP, Communication and Persuasion Skills and Native American Teachings. Tired of wasting 4 years with not connecting and having so many frustrations, Emmett finally found a way to cut through all of the BS and discover ways to connect and eventually get a real hug from his step son.
Emmett now writes and designs audio programs and workshops that distill these teaching that will help Step Dads and Step Kids get beyond the Breaking Point. He lives in Brewster, Ohio with his wife of 7 years and 3 beautiful and outgoing boys.
Emmett's hobbies includes Native American Wisdom and Survival, not only in the wild, but also in the home. He teaches his boys Native American Indian survival skills and goes out to the woods weekly for a few days. As a result he and his sons have developed a closeness that could not have happened in the hustle and bustle of so many other things. This time is precious to Emmett and has become Sacred time as he and his boys discover powerful ways to observe nature and ultimately the world.
